Let's clean up the world, one bar of soap at a time

In many cultures, bentonite clay is referred to as a healing clay.  Some people ingest bentonite clay, believing that it helps with a variety of issues, but I always strongly discourage taking clays internally.  So please do not - or at least check with a qualified, licensed health practitioner before contemplating the idea!

Bentonite clay is also known as Montmorillonite clay when it originates in the French region of Montmorillon. This location is where bentonite clay was first discovered.  These days the clay is harvested mostly in Italy, France, and the USA.

Bentonite clay is reputed to help with various types of dermatitis, poison ivy breakouts, and help heal wounds.
